The Herbal Consultant facilitates the sale of cannabis products in the dispensary.
Job Outline and Competencies:
Greets customers and escorts them into the showroom with excellent service Educates customers about a variety of cannabis products, including flower, edibles, and concentrates Stays abreast of new products, current promotions, strains, changes in laws, and industry trends in order to provide the highest level of customer service Engages in suggestive selling techniques Provides recommendations on cannabis products based on customer requests Advises customers on proper safety measures to follow when consuming cannabis Maintains accurate records in Dutchie, When I Work, and all company systems.
Verifies proper identification and paperwork from customers Contribute to reaching team goals and basket expectations.
Assisting in various dispensary operations, including operating the cash register and maintaining clean and sanitary working and shopping conditions Must have reliable transportation and easy to reach via phone or text to cover last minute callouts (Every other Weekend)
Essential Functions:
The Herbal Consultant must be able to do the following:
Report to their scheduled shift on time Walk short distances and stand for extended periods Reach, bend, and extend in order to facilitate the sale of cannabis products Talk to and listen to customers and other employees to facilitate the sale of cannabis products Enter information into a computer Read and understand English Lift up to 50 pounds Supervisory

The Herbal Consultant works in an indoor environment with heat, air-conditioning, and good lighting.
The noise level is low.
Physical demands:
The Herbal Consultant position requires walking short distances, standing for extended periods, reaching, bending, and extending in order to facilitate the sale of cannabis products.
Expected Work Hours:
The shifts for Herbal Consultants are 5 hour to 8 hour shifts, both morning and evening shifts, although your shifts can vary.
Overtime is not expected but is offered occasionally.
