Would you like work with variety at a beautiful retreat center in the Redwoods? We are looking for the perfect addition to our team and will happily train the right candidate in all aspects of Destination Weddings.
Amphitheater of the Redwoods at Pema Osel Ling offers 3-day destination weddings at our retreat center in the Santa Cruz Mountains.
This position is perfect for someone who loves bringing joy to others and will be moved by the beautiful moments that shine though at each wedding.
Your work assisting our wedding coordinator will help to create a magical day for couples and their loved ones as they connect with our special land.
This position is on-site for Saturdays (some Friday Evenings and Sundays if you want more hours - very flexible).
Our wedding seasons are July to mid-November and February to June.
Limited remote hours available during off months if desired.
This position is perfect for students or those who have a Monday-Friday job and are thinking of a new career.
You will train with and assist our Wedding Coordinator executing each couple's dream weekend.
This is a hands-on position and you must be willing to pitch in as needed with set-up and execution of all aspects of the wedding weekend.
You may also work with our Sales/Marketing Director for occasional on-site tours.
There will be several career/resume-building avenues and roles to explore:
Wedding Coordination, Wedding Sales/Marketing and Wedding Catering.
Pema Osel Ling is run by the Vajrayana Foundation, whose mission is to foster the Tibetan Buddhist ideals of peace and compassion and to preserve Tibetan art and culture while connecting people with our sacred land.
Requirements:
Possess attention to detail and a high level of organizational skill.
Experience with Excel and Google Docs is a plus.
Possess the ability to stay on schedule and help manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Able to effectively communicate with staff, wedding couples, guests, and vendors, with high levels of patience and diplomacy.
Open to feedback.
Willing to ask questions and follow directions.
Ability to lift at least 35 lbs Comfortable walking on hilly terrain and working outdoors when needed.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
