Watsonville, CA Watsonville, CA Full-time Full-time $25 - $28 an hour $25 - $28 an hour JOB SUMMARY The individual will accurately document customer interactions using company programs, provide accurate information to customers using available company resources, and effectively track customer orders, modifications, and services from start to finish.
This position will help to bridge and overcome any gaps or barriers to projects, and/or operational flows encountered throughout multiple departments and team members.
The Technical Customer Support Specialist will report directly to the After Sales Business Manager.
The scope of duties includes:
Customer and Company Liaison Efficient documentation Accurate attention to details Tracking orders and modifications Proficient communication skills Responsibilities Receive all incoming phone call and e-mail requests from clients.
Forward client requests to their proper point of contact or provide initial response within a timely manner.
Document customer interactions properly within the CRM as a matter of record.
Provide accurate information to customers using company resources as needed.
(Resources may include relevant documentation or personnel from other departments).
Investigate and collect data or information concerning client issues.
Troubleshoot client issues using drawings, schematics, or other relevant resources.
Collaborate and coordinate with internal company departments and/or external vendors to help resolve customer requests.
Document and track all client issues and help pursue solutions until all client concerns are fully resolved and closed out.
Generate regular reports on current and past customer issues.
Provide regular Update Reports on all current projects or open tasks.
Assist the After Sales Team with current tasks or projects and provide support wherever additional help may be needed as directed by the After Sales Manager.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Currently holds a valid Driver's License Fluent with Windows Operation System and Microsoft Office Suite programs Superior customer service skills Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to maintain a positive attitude Able to communicate proficiently both verbally and written with customers and other team members Possesses basic Knowledge of o Electronics and Electrical Schematics o HMIs and PLCs o Mechanical Skills o Machine drawings Ability to obtain a passport Travel 35% of the time international or domestic.
(This is NOT a regular Field Support position).
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE High school diploma or equivalent education 1-3 years of relevant experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment PHYSICAL DEMANDS Lifting up to 50lbs Sitting up to 6 hours per day Regularly kneeling and squatting Job Type:
